The Trousdale – 1 Full Time Position – Days

The Food Service Director is responsible for supervising the food service staff. The responsibilities for this position include: budgetary compliance, quality assurance, Menu management, department management, overseeing service of meals to residents, food preparation, providing consultation concerning the activities of the food service department in order to provide service as per professional and legal standards, staffing, scheduling and job assignments.

Job Requirements Ability to understand and work harmoniously with residents, staff and healthcare professionals. Ability to maintain high professional and ethical standards. Computer proficiency is strongly recommended. The Food Service Director is responsible for supervising the food service staff. The responsibilities for this position include: budgetary compliance, quality assurance, Menu management, department management, overseeing service of meals to residents, food preparation, providing consultation concerning the activities of the food service department in order to provide service as per professional and legal standards, staffing, scheduling and job assignments. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D. Food Service Management Degree or Commensurate work experience. Serv Safe certification required. Training and Experience: A minimum of three years work experience supervising food service operations. Serve Safe Certification.
