The Lead Waitperson is responsible for supervising the dining room staff. The responsibilities for this position include assisting with the management of the dining room and overseeing the service of meals to residents. Directly supervises wait staff. Busses and resets tables as needed. Ensures dining room is clean and reset to standard prior to next meal. Takes meal orders in an accurate and courteous manner, providing prompt service to fill orders and requests. Assists in the orientation of all new employees including: on-the-job training, adherence to policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations. Assists the Food Service Director in other administrative activities as directed by Management. Maintains standards of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the food services department.
