Eskaton Washington Manor – 1 Full Time Position – Days

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance of the Eskaton Washington Manor I-V, including carrying out the preventative maintenance program and making repairs of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities also include trouble-shooting heating and air-conditioning systems, remodeling, carpentry work, and oversight of all maintenance related contract work. The Maintenance Supervisor maintains a positive working relationship with residents, family, staff, vendors, and contract labor..

Job Requirements A minimum of two (2) years general maintenance experience, with emphasis upon electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Practical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical systems, painting, floor care, refrigeration, appliance repair, construction, grounds maintenance, and the use and care of various tools and equipment. As of June 1st, 2014 Eskaton’s Tobacco/Smoke Free Campus Policy prohibits employees from smoking anywhere on Eskaton’s property.
Education Requirements High school diploma, or equivalent G.E.D., preferred. Graduation from trade school related to electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills, or completion of a recognized on-the-job training program in those areas preferred.
